Education

Mr. Mattia holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. from Syracuse University. He is admitted to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Mattia is the Vice President of Legal & Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for supporting Grain’s CFIR team on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters as well as overseeing regulatory and compliance matters for the firm.

Prior to Grain, Mr. Mattia was Senior Legal Counsel for DWS Group, formerly known as Deutsche Asset Management. Previously, he was Senior Counsel at Morrison Cohen LLP and an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP.
